Do they differ in some way from regular socks? <BR/><BR/>Memories of my own trip to Venice are ever-so-slightly marred by the fact that I was inter-railing and couldn't afford to buy a slice of pizza from a street vendor, let alone stay anywhere posh. So my top moments there were a trip on a vaporetto, going "ooh what a lot of pigeons" in the Piazza San Marco, and getting lost in some side streets.
